Getting started with Oway?
Simply click on "Create an Account" above to get started - you do not need to register any information with us to get an instant quote. If you're happy with the price, simply place the order and we'll have a vehicle dispatched to your location as soon as you need it.
What is the difference between Oway and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipping?
Oway is more effective at shipping because we typically use long-haul (Full-Truckload) vehicles instead of LTL infrastructure (warehouses, multiple trucks, transfers, etc). This enables door-to-door shipping using empty space in large trailers. Oway is also capable of coordinating via cross-docking when needed.
Do Oway shipments have insurance?
Yes, we have comprehensive insurance that exceeds industry standards. We use Highway to verify compliance (safety, licencing, insurance) with all of our carriers - and we also provide additional layers of insurance on the Oway platform built into every transaction by default.
How does pricing work?
Oway is free to access for anyone. Our shipping is so cost effective because our drivers are carriers on the road making deliveries that often have spare empty space that goes to waste.
Historically, it's extremely difficult for carriers to fill this extra empty space after leaving the dock. So instead of letting it go to waste, our AI matches you to drivers who are driving along the route of your shipment. By having the driver do a few small detours just for you while on their regular schedule, your deliveries cost less.
Can you provide lift gates / appointments / limited access?
Yes! And we currently do not charge extra for it - accessorials are free and included in all Oway prices.
What is your customer care policy?
Our goal is to make sure you are fully satisfied to be an Oway customer. If you'd like a refund before your order is picked up, just send us an email reply that asks for a refund to your order confirmation email and we'll process a full refund for you. Also in the rare circumstance that we don't match you with a driver, we will automatically give you a full refund.
